The Love We Overlooked

This is a collaboration between me and my dear talented Pantea Digital painting—> Eli Animation Poem & Music —> Pantea Sometimes our entire world becomes a single person; someone whose presence gives meaning to our days, someone who feels like a safe home in the middle of all life’s storms. But life does not always follow the path we expect. Sometimes something new enters our journey, our attention changes, and the one who was once our whole world slowly fades into silence. The most painful moment is not always leaving… Sometimes it is realizing that the one we loved chose a different path, while we are left with nothing but the memories that remain. But some kinds of love never truly disappear. They stay quietly waiting, even when they are no longer seen. Sometimes life takes us through distant roads so that we can understand what we have lost. And when all the noise fades away, when the things that once seemed important are no longer there, we may find ourselves returning to the place we once left behind. A place where love is still alive… The same love that was recognized too late, but was never truly forgotten. Once your hands were my shelter, your heart my home, With you beside me, I was never alone. I grew in your kindness, I bloomed in your light, You held me so gently, you made my world bright. Then a blue flower appeared, So magical and new, You gave it your love, And forgot that I knew. You loved it, you guarded its glow, While I stood in silence, watching you go. It faded to nothing, it slipped from your hand, And I came back to hold you, to help you stand. I’m not a flower, That withers and dies, I’m a root in your heart, Beneath endless skies. I’m still here beside you, Through darkness and weather… The fox who has loved you, And will love you forever.
